Praia da Luz is a place with a history that has been preserved, updated and renewed over time, and which is now an undisputed reference point in the city of Oporto.
Praia da Luz has never been just a terrace or a restaurant, but a place where we can live unique experiences, enjoy the surroundings and establish a strong visual link with the
sea. Due to its size and versatility, Praia da Luz has not one, but three concepts in one place.
Our relationship with our customers goes far beyond serving food; we want to create experiences and memories that last, transforming ordinary moments into special
occasions and making each visit unique and unforgettable.
ESPLANADE
A place to rest, socialise and enjoy relaxed meals served by the sea, in an idyllic setting with
unique natural features and views. The menu is so complete that you can enjoy a sandwich, a
salad or even a more elaborate dish...
Here we share time, knowledge and flavours, music or simply the joy of enjoying the sea
breeze while the sun transforms the sky and the sea.
COFFEE HOUSE
The Coffee House, with its modern lines and cosy atmosphere, is open for breakfast, lunch,
snacks and dinner. The menu is varied, with international dishes without forgetting the
traditional flavours of Porto, ideal for sharing with friends and family.
Located at sea level, we feel close to the beach and through the large windows we can hear
the refreshing sea breeze and the relaxing sound of the waves.
RESTAURANT
On the top floor, the view stretches to the infinite horizon. The menu, inspired by signature
cuisine, invites you to share flavours over intimate meals. The starters stand out for their
creativity and international influence, while the main courses reinterpret traditional
Portuguese cuisine with a contemporary twist.
With the sea as a backdrop and the tranquillity of the breathtaking view, it's the ideal place to
enjoy special moments with friends, family or business partners, always in harmony with the
Atlantic and the serenity of the beach that hosts it. Here the service is close and attentive to
detail, making lunches and dinners unique and unforgettable experiences.

We offer an exclusive and personalised service, provided by a professional team focused on
comfort, elegance and efficiency. We have our own excellent catering, created by chefs Luís
Américo and Hugo Sá Morais, who combine traditional Portuguese flavours with more
contemporary proposals, always with high quality presentation and taste. We celebrate each
event in a unique way and adapt our menus to your specific needs.
